Privacy policy

SC MEDICA ensures that the privacy of users of this site is respected. As such, the Company undertakes to ensure the protection and confidentiality of personal data communicated via the contact form by any user, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679/EU (hereinafter, “GDPR”).

Upon using the contact form, the following user information is collected:

  • Identity
  • Mail address
  • Message content

Data gathered are kept for the duration necessary to process the request. This duration may potentially increase according to the law applicable to each individual case.

In accordance with GDPR articles 15 to 21, any user may:

  • Access their personal data
  • Obtain rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them
  • Obtain the erasure of personal data concerning them
  • Request the restriction of processing personal data concerning them
  • Exercise their right to data portability
  • Object to the processing of personal data concerning them.

These rights may be exercised by addressing a written request to dpo@sc-medica.com or to the following address: SC MEDICA, 3 Quai Kléber, Tour Sébastopol, 67000 Strasbourg – France. The copy of an identity document may be requested  in support of the demand.

Personal data collected when exercising these rights are processed in order to manage the request:

  • Identity (family name, first name)
  • Copy of an identity document (if applicable)
  • Content of the request
  • Response provided by SC MEDICA

This data is kept for a duration of three (3) years, exception made of the identity document copy, which is kept for a period of one (1) year.

Information on measures taken following a request made under the preceding paragraph will be transmitted within one month following reception of the request. In case of complex request, this duration may be extended by two months. The user would then be informed of such extension and of the reasons for the postponement within one month following reception of the request.

The content of this website is not intended for minors. SC MEDICA does not keep any data related to minors. Any data collected would be deleted from our servers.

Any user may file a complaint to the French National Commission for IT and Liberties (CNIL), 3 Place Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07, regarding the collection and processing of their personal data by SC MEDICA.
